Hanging out with the saints
They say you can tell a lot about a person (or a penguin for that matter) by the company he keeps - I leave you to your own conclusions.
Segesta!
My first Greek temple! (As you might suspect, there aren't any temples perched on Antarctica's shores.) Segesta temple is one of the best preserved temples in the world. The Doric styled temple was built before 430 B.C. and measures just over 60 meters long and 26 meters wide, built upon 4 steps with a total of 36 Doric columns, 14 columns on each side and six columns across the front and back.

P.S.A.
Yes friends, it's time for a Slappy's public service announcement! Where I live in Moreton, they have recycling collections fortnightly (that's every 2 weeks for you North Americans), which I think is a FABulous idea!! We have a small green box for compost items (collected weekly), a black box for tins/plastics, newspapers etc. which gets collected with the bin (garbage) bags. They do not however take glass bottles for recycling so we made our way to the recycling centre, located just a stone's throw from Little Pinners. Please follow my lead loyal peeps and reduce, recycle and re-use!

Born to be Wild!
Steppenwolf says it best:
I got my motor running,
heading for the highway,
looking for adventure, whatever comes my way! 'cause
Like a true nature child,
I was born, born to be wild!

Trigger
Meet my new friend, Trigger, a 5 yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Nice chap, pleasant enough, but unfortunately, he suffers from a short attention span. Come to think of it, he's really a bit of a boor, knocking me over like he did, as I attempted to educate him about the contributions Penguins have made in the world. Such a waste, carelessly discarding my "Penguin Wisdom". Makes me wonder how Trigger gets through his day!
